Chateau La Croix De Grezard Lussac St Emillion

£19.50

In a nutshell:Château la Croix de Grezard is an understated but ripe and elegant right bank claret.
The lowdown:Bill Boulter is not one to blow his trumpet, preferring to let his wines do the talking and the reliably good quality he produces each year from his small estate are really advert enough. Lussac St-Emilion is right next door to St Emilion itself and the wines often have a lot in common. This Merlot dominated right bank claret has soft and restrained fruit that still maintains good concentration and freshness accompanied with lovely developed oak spices.
When to drink:Just coming into it prime this is a great partner to things like lamb, duck or other game birds.
